From its peninsula in the southernmost part of Lake Storsjön, the scenic and 548 meter high Hoverberget can be seen from far and wide. The mountain is easily accessible and offers great outdoor experiences for all ages. In the extensive and updated nature reserve there are landslides, vertical rock walls, caves and a very dramatic ravine, an exciting and varied area.

In the summer you can visit Hoverbergs harbour and Camping, here you will find the Harbour Café, mini golf, barbecue area, swimming opportunities and fishing. Up on Hoverberget you will find Hoverbergstoppen cafe and a lookout tower with wonderful views of Storsjön and the mountains. Hoverbergsgrottan is Sweden's largest gorge cave. Hembygdsgården has a summer café that is opened every Sunday from 3 July to 28 August. They also have a flea market, coffee and raffle/ tombola.

On and around Hoverberget mountain there are several trails from which you can experience a varied mix of wonderful views, nature and cultural-historical experiences. The trails often follow old paths, driveways and village roads. The paths are well marked with signs and orientation maps.
