A house with history in every wall

In the heart of Hoverberg lies Strandgården – a house where over 140 years of history still live on.

Here, you stay in a setting that has once been both a pharmacy and a guesthouse, where original features, furnishings, and the atmosphere of a bygone era have been carefully preserved. This is a place for those seeking more than just somewhere to sleep – an experience filled with character, tranquillity, and close connection to nature.

About Hoverberg

From its peninsula in the southernmost part of Lake Storsjön, the scenic and 548 meter high Hoverberget can be seen from far and wide. The mountain is easily accessible and offers great outdoor experiences for all ages. In the extensive and updated nature reserve there are landslides, vertical rock walls, caves and a very dramatic ravine, an exciting and varied area.

On and around Hoverberget there are several trails from which you can experience a varied mix of wonderful views, nature and cultural and historical experiences.
